Esther Maas

Esther has a postdoc appointment with the Partnership for Work, Health, and Safety, at the School of Population and Public Health at UBC. This is a partnership between WorkSafeBC and UBC. She is being supervisored by Dr. Chris McCLeod & Dr. Mieke Koehoorn. Esther's research is supported by a CIHR postdoc fellowship for the years
2017 – 2019. Her program of research includes epidemiology, health technology assessment, program and policy evaluation in occupational health, musculoskeletal injuries and diseases.

Esther obtained her PhD in 2016 from the department of Health Sciences at the Free University in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
