Rachael Dempsey in the CRWDP Ontario Cluster Coordinator. She holds a MA in International Relations from the University of Toronto, a BA in International Studies from Glendon College, York University and a BA in English Literature from McGill University.

Rachael brings five years of experience working on diverse human rights, social justice and health research topics, in particular qualitative and policy research with a focus on women’s rights, disability rights, and human rights defenders. She also has contributed to and coordinated a range of communications, advocacy, and policy initiatives both locally and internationally, with the CRWDP, Disability Rights Promotion International at York University, as well as the Association for Women’s Rights in Development, and the Colombian Campaign to Ban Landmines. She is the recipient of the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers.
