Fran Copelli

Research Administrator

Fran Copelli (she/they) is a research administrator at the Institute for Work & Health. Since September 2022, she has been assisting with various projects led by Institute scientists, including Drs. Emile Tompa, Lynda Robson, Kathleen Dobson and Faraz Shahidi. For example, Copelli directly supports two of Tompa's initiatives, Disability and Work in Canada (DWC) and Inclusive Design for Employment Access (IDEA).

Prior to joining IWH, Copelli worked as the lab manager of the Science of Music, Auditory Research and Technology Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University. During this time, she was also the project manager for SingWell Canada—a research project exploring the effects of singing on communication disorders and biopsychosocial well-being.

Copelli holds a BA (honours) in psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University.
