Meet and Greet for Students and New Researchers

29 September 2014

Monday September 29, 2014
At the WDPI Conference venue (Hyatt Regency Hotel)
5:30 – 7:30 pm, followed by a dinner funded by CRWDP

This “meet and greet” is sponsored by the Centre for Research on Work Disability Policy (CRWDP). At the event you hear about CRWDP, a new Canadian initiative funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Meet other students and new researchers interested in work disability policy, and find out how you can get involved in CRWDP activities through:

  • graduate and post-doctoral training and mentoring opportunities,
  • student provincial caucuses in British Columbia, Ontario, Québec, and Newfoundland,
  • community-based internships
  • virtual student forums

The two-hour session will include an introduction to CRWDP from the Centre’s co-directors, presentations on research underway by CRWDP student fellows, and a brainstorming session on hot new topics you can take up for thesis and research papers.

Please RSVP to Christina Kalcevich at nationalmanager@crwdp.ca by September 22, 2014.
